Attendance at Trinity Kindy
What To Bring To Kindy
- Please pack morning or afternoon tea for your child. We promote healthy eating at the kindy and therefore request no lollies, sweets, chewing gum, chocolate, or fizzy drinks. A sandwich or piece of fruit is great, with a drink of water. Please make sure your child can unwrap their lunch so try to avoid cling wrap - it helps to cut the ends of packets and wrappings.
- Please also send a full change of clothes - all named! We are not responsible for your child's misplaced shoes, jackets etc. We always try our best to keep everything together, but naming clothes is a great help!
- A sun hat is a must in summer, and please put sun block on your child before they arrive at kindy. We have a supply of sun block for emergencies.
- Unsure then please ask.
Medication & Illness
All medication must be signed in - please ask teachers for medication forms. We are unable to give medication if the paperwork is not completed. Wherever possible please give medication before the session commences. Do not leave medication of any kind in your child's bag as this is very dangerous. Other children may open the bag and take the medication.
Sick and contagious children cannot be at the kindy for any reason. If you are unsure please phone us before arrival and we can discuss this with you.
If your child develops an allergy to food or other illness during their time at the centre, please remember to inform us so that it can be added to their medical details. Asthma pumps must be given to teachers.
Policies
We have many policies which govern the operation of the kindy, you are welcome to view these policies at any time. Some that you may be particularly interested in are Child Behaviour Management, Prevention of Child Abuse and Complaints Procedure.
All other policies are available for you to view at any time in accordance with the Charter and E.R.O. reports.
